    SARAH PINSENT

    BA, BSW, MSW, RSW

I welcome individuals, partnerships and families to meet with me who are experiencing or have experienced difficult, challenging and unsettling times in their life. I want to help people understand their life stories and circumstances, with the goal of working towards acceptance, emotional regulation, change management and next steps.

We all require compassion, understanding and safety while navigating our emotional mind. We deserve to be validated for how and what we feel. In the words of Brene Brown, "Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process, is the bravest thing we will ever do".

Areas of speciality: life and family transitions, acute stress, divorce, family conflict, mental health concerns such as: depression, anxiety, personality disorders, maladaptive behaviours, suicidal ideation and/or self-harm, domestic violence, abuse survivors, first responders and their families, care of the aging adult and dementia.

I take pride in the connection and meaningful relationships I build with my clients and their families. I value the mutual trust we develop and the personal growth and achievements that are shared.

    AMELIA RIEHL

    REGISTERED PSYCHOTHERAPIST (QUALIFYING), CTP

Hi, I’m Amelia. I specialize in supporting teens, adults, and couples through life’s toughest transitions—whether it's stress, relationship challenges, trauma, or the emotional weight of caregiving. As a foster parent, I deeply understand the complexity of caring for others while trying to stay grounded yourself. I’m passionate about helping those who carry a lot find space to reconnect with their inner strength and feel truly supported.

My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and strength-based, integrating somatic, narrative, and experiential modalities. This means our work won’t just stay in your head; we’ll explore how your experiences live in your body, how your story has shaped you, and how you can move forward with more awareness and self-compassion. Whether you’re looking to gain a deeper understanding of yourself, strengthen your relationships, or simply feel more at ease, I offer a grounded and collaborative space to support your growth.

    STACIE JOHNSON

    REGISTERED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELLOR, RPC-C CANDIDATE

I help people who are stuck in cycles/patterns of behavior that no longer serve them. My clients might be wondering why they always choose "toxic" partners or let their friends and family take advantage or them, or maybe they're being pressured by stressful life transitions, or just need someone to listen to them. My clients want to get to the bottom of their problems and develop sustainable coping skills and happiness. Whatever the issue is, I know my clients are the true experts on themselves and it's my job to help you reach your goals, whatever they might be.

I offer a trauma informed, multiculturally competent, person centered style of counselling that is inspired heavily by Adlerian Psychology, with a feministic perspective. Together, we can investigate the root cause of what's troubling you and introduce tools/skills that will help you get going in the right direction to peace and happiness.
